The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

It is so hot right now the Netherlands is currently in a heatwave. So I thought what better product to use then the naked heat eyeshadow palette?

This is my only eyeshadow palette I own form Urban Decay. In fact I think the Naked Palettes all look great, but for some reason they never really spoke to me. That was until they launched this version which is the Naked Heat palette. A very very warm toned palette with some incredible orangy/red shimmer and matte shades.

  • Urband Decay Naked Heat palette

I love all the colours but, my all-time favourite eye look is when you combine the colours chaser, sauced and dirty talk. It will give you a stunning look but one that is still suitable for wearing all day.

How to combine a warm and strong eye look?

Now when I first bought this palette I was so over the moon with it. I am still really happy but I have realised that all the looks I create with it are quite noticeable. All of the shadows are very pigmented and very warm. Gorgeous but not always the easiest to combine with other products, however I found some beautiful complementing products.

  • Mac Warm Soul Mineralize Blush

A gorgeous neutral blush that really suits every skintone. This blusher has a lovely neutral colour with a hint of peachy sheen to it. No glitters, no shimmer, no risks of using to much. This blusher is great for using it with a strong eye look. It still gives you a flushed cheek without overpowering or competing with the eyes.

  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB cream

To be honest this product is not my favourite face product of all time. The reason why I chose this is to make the point of using a light to medium coverage product when creating a strong eye look. Usually people are drawn to full coverage foundations when wearing a heavy eye shadow look. If that is your thing then please do so since we are all different J It can create a lovely look but for me it is too heavy. I can’t pull the ‘instagram’ make up look off so my advice when using more colourful or warm eyeshadow look, is to combine them with a face product that covers your imperfections, but stil shows your skin. To me the total make up look will stil look fresh and young and be suitable for daily wear.

The lips…

I regret not taking some more pictures but I love to combine warm eyeshadow with beige/brown nude lipsticks. I love the Jeffree Star celebrity skin lipstick but there are so much good neutral shades that I’m sure you have your own favourite to use 😉

Hopefully you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments !
