Budget Make-up Haul & Review
I recently went on a little budged make-up shopping spree. Now I really enjoy my high-end luxury products but the drugstore still really appeals to me especially with budget brand becoming better and better.
The Make Up Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation
I am a huge fan of their famous concealer so when they came out with this foundation I already had it on my radar to buy it, especially after Jeffree Star giving this a great review on his YouTube channel. Now buying foundations online is so tricky. I really didn’t know which shaded to get so ended up purchasing two which are F2 and F6. F2 is too light with F6 being a bit too dark, however I mix these foundation by dotting them both on my face and blending them in with my beautyblender. So far I really like it, its really smooth and the coverage is medium but definitely buildable.
The Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation 02 Natural
Once again too dark but when I mix this with my N2 True Match foundation from L’Oréal I get the perfect colour for my summer tanned skin. I adore the formula of this foundation its medium to full coverage but it does not look cakey, it does net set in to pores and when powdered it will last a good 6 to 8 hours.
Nabla Blossom Blush in the shade Harper
I saw this brand being heavily featured on Instagram and was really intrigued by it. The packaging is stunning and so is the lasting power of this blush. Its stayed on all day even on really hot days. The colour Harper is a gorgeous pinky peach a bit like Nars Orgasm but without the sparkled. This Harper blush has more of a natural looking sheen to it.
The Make up Revolution 1 Million eyeshadow Palette
I received this palette as a freebie so I was thrilled to discover that this palette is actually quite good. Now the colours are gorgeous pink, plum and golden shades lovely to create an evening look with. The quality is good for drugstore standards. What I mean is that; yes these eyeshadows are pigmented and there is barely any fall out, which is great. However, they don’t blend as easily. I tend to use this when I am going out and I only use 3 shades or so to get a purple smokey eye. But if your able to get this palette definitely do!
